Inside the NWSC

Q: What is the difference between weather and climate?

A: Weather changes from minute to minute, day to day, and over the seasons. Climate is defined by averaging weather information over many years or decades. Weather is like your grade on one test, and climate is the grade you get for that class on your report card.
